The Next Best Thing

I was tagged in The Next Best Thing!
So here we go…

What is the working title of your book?

When We Collide

Where did the idea come from for the book?

When I was writing #SA (my current WIP that was put on hold after When We Collide took over my thoughts) this dream sequence kept coming to mind. Two characters were born in them and I wrote the book around them.

What genre does your book fall under?

Contemporary Romance/Romantic Thriller

Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

Hmm…Maybe Jenna Stone as Maggie

and Paul Walker as William (with brown eyes, of course)

They look like they belong together, don't they?

What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

William is ready to fight to take back what had been stolen from him six years before, but he never imagined what that fight might cost him.

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

Ten months

Who or What inspired you to write this book?

When We Collide began with the dream sequence, but as I plotted and began to write, the story really came to life. Sometimes it’s easy to forget—or maybe it’s easier to forget—that there are so many women who live lives so similar to Maggie.

What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?

Ah…well, just as in Pulled and Take This Regret, you’ll find tons of angst and an even greater romance, though When We Collide has a little bonus of a supernatural twist.

And Tag, You're It!

    1. LOL...I know, everything else becomes invisible near that pic. Words? Definitely not important.

  3. Oh yeah! I can totally see Paul Walker as William. (Wish I had the bit of info earlier!) I loved WWC and know everyone else will, as well. Thanks for the tag. Getting on it right now!
